Our
Mission

The Pink Purpose Foundation is dedicated to spreading awareness about breast cancer and fostering a supportive community for millennial women and older. We aim to empower survivors, providing them with resources, knowledge, and a safe space to realize that life flourishes beyond breast cancer.

Our
Vision

Our vision is a world where every woman, regardless of age, stands strong in the face of breast cancer, knowing that she is not alone. We envision a future where survivors not only overcome the physical and emotional challenges of their journey but also thrive in their personal and professional lives. Through education, support, and camaraderie, we aspire to inspire a renewed sense of purpose and vitality.

About

Among the many things that define a woman is her strength, yet this attribute is also one of the most understood qualities of any woman because outsiders are unable to neither see nor understand the hardship that created such a strong warrior. Historically, warriors have always been considered a brave or experienced soldier or fighter. The term maybe predated centuries ago however the essence of female warriors lives on currently. Suzanne “Sue” Powell is a modern day warrior. My strength is a result of many conquered battles throughout her life; none more strenuous and challenging than her battle with breast cancer.

Typically battles are fought between two opposing parties. However, when battling cancer the battle is against yourself. The sneak attack was subtle and disarming initially. While playing with my children I experienced a discomfort, the battle was starting. I had discovered a lump which then prompted me to make an appointment with my physician. Even after the professional examination my doctor did not believe the lump to be cancerous simply because a mammogram was performed several months prior.

Despite the disbelief from both parties – the reality of the battle could not have been avoided. I had cancer. The battle had started. One of the main sources of strength during this process was my religious faith. Amongst the many things I did once receiving the news was solicit prayers.

I encourage others to embrace life's challenges as opportunities for growth through her own example and words of wisdom. I believe  that every obstacle we face is an opportunity for personal development and transformation.

By sharing my own journey of surviving breast cancer, I am showing others that even in the face of adversity, it is possible to find strength, resilience, and inner growth. It’s important to emphasize and maintaining a positive mindset and refusing to let fear or despair define one's experience.

Through my advocacy work, I spread awareness about the importance of early detection and regular screenings, empowering others to take control of their health and face any potential challenges head-on. I will continue to encourage individuals to be proactive in their healthcare and to embrace regular check-ups as an act of self-care and empowerment.

Suzanne Powell emphasizes the power of support systems and surrounding oneself with loved ones during difficult times. She believes in the strength of community and the comfort that can be found in sharing experiences and seeking guidance from others who have faced similar challenges.

Through my words and actions I will continue to inspire others to view life's challenges as opportunities for personal growth and transformation. She encourages individuals to approach obstacles with a positive mindset, embracing the lessons and strength that can be gained from overcoming adversity.

In short, I want to encourage others to see challenges as stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks, reminding them that within every difficulty lies the potential for growth, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. I will serve as a beacon of hope, showing others that no matter the circumstance, they too can find strength and inspiration to navigate life's challenges with grace and determination.
